Welcome to our brand new weekly feature – promoting adoptable rescue dogs and the people who help them!
This week’s Adoptable Dog is Willie Wonka! Willie was saved from a remote overcrowded shelter by Deity Animal Rescue, and has a condition called Carpal Laxity Syndrome, something that occurs in large breed dogs going through growth spurts who may be malnourished or have too much protein in their diet. It may also be caused by the pup being confined to a small space and not allowed to move around to strength their joints and muscles.
Since being rescued, Willie has been going to physical therapy and is doing better and better every week, getting stronger by the day!
She is a happy, playful girl, who is enjoying every second of every day. Her resiliency is absolutely inspiring.
Willie has been featured on Home and Family TV, starred in a video with Hozier and rated 14/10 by We Rate Dogs!
